She also teaches internationally and is a supporter of a number of medical education charities.

Sharon graduated with an Honors Degree in Orthoptics from the University of Sheffield in 2009. Shortly after practicing as an orthoptist and developing her practice and clinical skills she began to take a keen interest in clinical teaching and became a clinical tutor for undergraduate clinical education. Her passion for medical education has only continued to grow and she has been involved with both international and local education programs.
